LWML in June

If you have an LWML "Mite Box" at home, please bring it to the church soon - you can put it in the large LWML "Mite Box" on the bench in the Narthex.  By the way, did you know that the mites from all over our church body add up to fund significant mission / outreach projects all over the world?  You can learn about how over $2,000,000 in mites funded over two dozen projects in the last two years HERE>>

Thursday, June 15 - LWML ZOOM Bible Study, 10:30 EDT
In person at Christ the King, but also on ZOOM (if you can't make it to the church, ask us to email you the link).  Please feel free to ask a friend to join us.

Thursday - Sunday, June 22-25 - LWML National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Pam Reece and Betty Olah will be representing our Central Zone of our SELC LWML at this event that happens every two years and is full of excitement, celebration, and enthusiasm for the mission and outreach of our church body.  Learn more about it HERE>>

Delegates at every convention are encourage to bring "Gifts From the Heart" that share God's blessings with people in need in the host community.  One of the organizations that will be blessed by these gifts is the Milwaukee "Refuge for Women."  If you'd like to help, you can send a Walmart, Kohl's, or Target gift card with Pam and Betty for this gift of love(any denomination - please use a permanent marker to write the amount on the card itself).

  • If you have a particular need - for help, prayer, counsel, but also shopping or meals - or whatever - please don't hesitate to call the church office at 330-948-3000 and leave a message - I or someone else will get back to you shortly.
  • I will try to be at the church most days to send emails, post video updates, make phone calls, pray for you and all of us, and whatever else may be necessary during these times.
  • If you feel you need the comfort of Jesus that He offers in His body and blood, please call me and arrange a time to come to the church to receive Holy Communion (by yourself, or with your family).
